5 S’s- Salvation- 7th Grade

Your protege is continuing to grow as a person and may be more willing to test boundaries. It s important to be consistent in extending grace, especially when your protege makes mistakes or rebels. There will be more caught than taught during the next few years, and a significant part of your ministry is simply being present. As new and different things come up, use these situations to apply the gospel. As your protege sees you extend grace, pursue him/her with kindness, and walk alongside him/her with patience, your relationship will be a picture of the gospel.

–Ask questions that allow you to get to root issues and not just symptoms
