2015 Purity Conference

When we plan events, we endeavor to do a few specific things:

—Create a space for the gospel to be shared

—Intentionally talk about one of the 5 S’s

—Plan activities that facilitate relational growth between mentors and proteges

With that in mind, we are really excited about the upcoming purity conference with Mercy Street!

We believe it will accomplish each of these goals. First and foremost, we are excited to talk about who Jesus is. At the purity conference, we’ll use the story of Jesus and the Woman at the Well to illustrate how Jesus enters in to the lives of sinners. We will also specifically explain how the gospel relates to one of the 5 S’s, Sexual Purity. Finally, we believe that the conference will open up opportunities for you and your protege to build trust (and to talk about awkward topics!).

If your protege is in the sixth grade or older, we hope you’ll make the Purity Conference a priority (if not, we plan to keep doing these– you can come once they are in middle school!).

The conference will be on Saturday, February 21 from 11:30 am- 3:30 pm. Please note that this is a date change from the calendar we e-mailed out last Fall. Lunch is one of the first things on our schedule, so make sure you’re there on time if you’d like to eat! We’ll meet over at Mercy Street (3801 Holystone Street, Dallas, Texas 75212). Your protege is welcome to bring friends or family with them (as long as the attendees are 6th grade & up).

Let us know if you can make it by Monday February 16th (and a headcount of how many people will be with you). We look forward to talking about God’s grace together!
